​Called to Word, Service, Compassion and Justice, she served 30 years as a clinical social worker, (8 years in the Army National Guard) and 19 years as a Spiritual Director

Pastor Freddie has had a long hard road, which included addiction, divorce, and abuse that led to recovery, and finally the road to ministry was opened to her.

Our compassionate listener, Laura Ida, will be available at both our Zoom and in-person Mission u (she will also be bringing Cokesbury books for to sell at our in-person Mission u).

​This year Mission u has recommended three books from the Reading Program specifically to enhance your engagement with the 2025 Mission u theme of “Practicing Hope Together”. The books are “Hope in Disarray: Piecing Our Lives Together in Faith” by Grace Ji-Sun Kim, “The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times” by Michelle Obama and “Living Resistance: An Indigenous Vision for Seeking Wholeness Every Day” by Kaitlin B. YoMiCa (short for Youth Missions Camp) is a week filled with the classic camp experience! Make new friends while you swim, play evening games, and be part of the long-standing traditions of YoMiCa! Learn about missionaries and the difference they are making in countries and communities around the globe!
